I am a Hawaii based surface designer and illustrator. My style is colorful, humorous, character driven concepts designed to evoke joy. I like to think that my characters and I are kindred. A little weird, a little awkward, and devastatingly cute. They want to make you smile just like I do.

I work in both traditional and digital mediums. I believe a great benefit of digital design is a seamless translation of colors and resolution that produce fabulous, eye catching prints on an endless possibility of surfaces. I draw my inspiration from my own joy derived from island living and beach going here - my ultimate goal is that my work inspires joy in you also.

My specialty is spot illustration and surface pattern design in mostly rasterized format (but vectorized when needed). I also design logos and promotional products for retail spaces for small businesses on island.
I work primarily with digital illustration for seamless and color exact printing results - but you can still find my original paintings installed around Honolulu.

Traditional painting will always hold a place in my heart - I enjoy working in gouache, oil, and acrylic when time allows. You can request an "inventory" of available works via my contact form.
